Wakakosha-‘I Am Worth It’ – new evidence from our self stigma intervention with young people

Zvandiri and Beyond Stigma are excited to announce that our paper on the evidence from Wakakosha project has been published by Frontiers.

The Wakakosha project has been a multi-year project and intervention to reduce self-stigma in adolescents and young people living with HIV  using Inquiry Based Stress Reduction.

The research has shown there is potential for reducing self-stigma and improving self-worth of young people living with HIV. The next phase of this intervention will be to continue training and supporting the young people to ensure fidelity and provide quality support as the peer coaches deliver the intervention to others.
