Our team comprises 220 passionate ‘Zvandirians’ with a shared vision for young people living with HIV and the role which Zvandiri plays in supporting Government. This teams works in 63 districts in Zimbabwe and supports 10 other countries in Africa. 30% of this team are former Zvandiri beneficiaries supported through an internship programme and in to employed positions.
Nicola is the Executive Director of Zvandiri. She has spent 20 years living in Africa, initially in Ghana and South Africa, then Zimbabwe since 2004 when she established Zvandiri together with young people living with HIV and a group of volunteers in Harare.
Matthew is a financial specialist with more than fifteen years’ experience in financial management, project planning, and systems administration for both commercial and NGO entities.
Dr Bobbie leads Zvandiri’s team in strengthening the integration and scale up of evidence-based, quality innovations which improve clinical outcomes among children, adolescents and young people living with HIV.
Vivian is a public health professional with more than 10 years’ experience in the design, implementation and dissemination of operational and implementation science research, strategic information, and evaluation in the field of HIV and associated health conditions.
Mather Mawodzeke is a public health practitioner, with more than 15 years’ experience working in HIV, particularly working in programming for effective child and adolescent HIV interventions.
April has held many roles since she began working with Zvandiri in 2015, and is currently Technical Advisor, focusing on the regional scale up of the Zvandiri Model with partner countries, Ministries and young adults
Billiart is a medical doctor with 10 years’ experience in the medical field, transitioning from being a clinical practitioner to a public health professional. He is the Head of Programmes for the USAID and ZHI-ACCE grants.
Tarirai is a public health specialist with 7 years of experience in HIV programming, and a background in microbiology. She is currently the Head of Programmes, overseeing the CDC-funded grants ZimTTECH & ZACH.
Tanyaradzwa is an experienced Strategic Information and Evaluation Specialist with more than 10 years of experience in implementing client-centered programs.
Antonetta has 15 years’ work experience in Humanitarian work providing support on Donor fund management, financial management and reporting as well as Donor and Statutory compliance.
Abigail has a great passion for working with children and adolescents and has been part of the Zvandiri family since its inception in 2004, starting as a volunteer support group leader then progressing through various roles in programming, training and research over the last 18 years.
