Cleophas obtained his MBCHB degree in 1998, a Masters in Public Health from University of Zimbabwe in 2011, and a PhD in Global Health from the University of Geneva in 2020. He has over 20 years’ experience working in Public, Private and NGO health sectors in Zimbabwe. He is a passionate trainer who has trained thousands of healthcare workers in the comprehensive management of HIV infection. He has co-authored over 50 publications in peer reviewed journals. He is the Research and Training Director at Newlands Clinic in Harare and currently serves as the President of the Zimbabwe College of Public Health Physicians and is the deputy Chairman of the Midlands State University Council.
