We are led by the voices and insights of our Peer Advisory Board (PAB), comprising nine young people from Zvandiri who are elected each year by their peers from across Zimbabwe. Every province is represented and reports to the Zvandiri Board, ensuring we are responsive to the needs and experiences of all young people in Zvandiri.

Tanaka is passionate about advocacy around ending child marriages, abuse and creating safe spaces for children around the globe. He has held international, national, provincial and district posts in advocacy, SRH, HIV and AIDS.

Amanda Munedzimwe has great passion to change people’s misinformation around HIV. Amanda is openly living with HIV and through her stories and videos is contributing significantly to HIV literacy in Masvingo district.

Dephine is a member of the Peer Advisory Board representing Mashonaland West and describes the board as helping her become strong, confident and courageous young woman.

Shepherd is a PAB member under Mashonaland East and has a keen interest in economics alongside his work as an educator, advocate and advisor. Advocacy for the rights of young people is in his veins.

Lorraine was originally a client with Zvandiri learning to live with HIV and with a disability, overcoming the stigma she experienced. Today she is proud of the lady she is becoming through her experience in the PAB and continues to use her experience to help others to gain strength.

Nicodemus Sagwete is a young peer who is eager to learn and understand the issues affecting adolescents and find solutions.

Thokozile Nkala is a 19-year-old who has a great passion for advocacy. She participated in the first HER Voice Fund project, where Zvandiri focused on developing the skills and capacity for adolescent girls and young women to work as story collectors and storyteller.

Nice Moyo is 23 years old. He is a PAB member for Matabeleland North Province. Nice joined as a member to highlight the issues he saw amongst his peers as they experienced stigma and peer pressure and many were missing out on education due to the loss of carers.

Varaidzo Mawere is the current PAB member representing Bulawayo province and is also studying Quantity surveying at Bulawayo Polytechnic and working hard to become the best in that field!
